London Olympics 2012

For the upcoming London Olympics, the baobab tree is getting some love and attention as a series of public art projects have been realized across London - a common trend during the international sporting event.

Pirate Technics a collective of artists, engineers and designers, have created a colorful sculpture made from patterned fabric from all over the world.  In spirit with what the Olympics represents, that is the games that bring cultures together, the tree-like structure also symbolizes the coming together of cultures and represents the dynamics of people through color, patterns and textures.

We also hope baobab brings the world together in a yummy way through powbab.  Love and peace from powbab!
