• powbab® Bread Recipe

1/2 pound loaf, serves 5

Our powbab® bread made with baobab could feed the masses, leaving hunger behind while providing superfood power and fiber in every bite. Slightly tangy, powbab® baobab bread is our version of instant sourdough bread (without the waiting for things to go sour :) ). The natural fiber is good for digestion and for weight management. Easy to make recipe with powbab® packs of organic baobab powder.



1¾ cups bread flour

1 pack of 0.8 oz powbab® organic baobab superfruit powder

2/3 cup whole milk (pasture-fed is best)

1 egg

2 teaspoons butter (pasture-fed is best)

4 teaspoons sugar

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon yeast


What to do:

Combine all the ingredients in bread machine. Follow bread machine directions.

Making by hand:

1)      Dissolve yeast in warm water (use about ¼ cup of water). Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes to rise (will create small bubbles)

2)      Warm the milk just slightly. Combine other ingredients, mix around, then add in yeast. Knead the dough. Gets a little sticky.

3)      Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about an hour).

4)      Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
