• Simple Elderberry Syrup using Elderberry Powder

Make your own DIY Elderberry Syrup using powbab Sambucus Elderberry Powder that is made from Organic elderberries.  Make syrup batches when you need it. Then, store the elderberry powder in your cupboard, or use it in smoothies, cakes, baked goods or on whatever you are eating and drinking.  This is a simple recipe, and feel free to add other herbals or immune boosting additions to your syrup to tailor to what you need. Excellent for cold season, prevent sickness and boost the immune system naturally with elderberry.

 

Simple Elderberry Syrup using Elderberry Powder Recipe

 

Ingredients:

2/3 cup of powbab® Sambucus Elderberry Powder

2 tablespoons of sliced ginger root

1 cinnamon stick

3 cups of water

A few goji berries (optional)

1 cup of honey

 

Other

Strainer (use a fine or extra fine mesh strainer)

 

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients except for the honey into a pot.
  2. Simmer for 30-45 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture.
  4. After mixture cools, add the honey and mix well.
  5. Ready to use. Refrigerate if not using immediately.  Enjoy!
