powbab® Healthier Mac and Cheese with Baobab

Serves 2 people

Healthy mac and cheese just got super duper easy and possible from a box. Whether you are a busy parent with kids who need to eat now, college student who is starving with no time, or a busy professional who stashes macaroni & cheese in the pantry just in case, this recipe is so simple and you won’t even taste a difference. With baobab, you are adding antioxidants, Vitamin C, natural dietary fiber, potassium, thiamin, calcium and Vitamin B6. Mac & cheese, meet powbab® power.

Ingredients:

1 Box of macaroni & cheese (we prefer natural brands such as Annie’s, Trader Joe’s, etc. Boxes are about 7 oz which contain about 1 ¼ cups of pasta plus cheese packet.)

4 tablespoons of milk (prefer pasture-fed, whole milk)

½ pack of 0.8 oz powbab® organic baobab superfruit powder

Optional:

Pinch of paprika

2 tablespoons of unsalted butter for richer flavor

 

What to do:

Follow directions on box. Cook pasta, drain (do not rinse). Add milk, cheese packet, and the powbab® baobab. Mix well and serve.
