• Baobab Taro Frittata

Must try this powbab Baobab Taro Frittata recipe!! Breakfast gone spectacular with this one, yet can be baked day before so when you wake, just pop in the oven and you are ready to enjoy. This recipe has so many great flavors going, great for breakfast, brunch or even a snack. Perfect for the fall and comforting ingredients. Gluten free and clean.

powbab® organic baobab superfruit powder adds extra fiber and nutrients. When made day before, just leave in fridge, when you are ready to eat, pop in oven for 20 minutes, and serve!

 

Baobab Taro Frittata Recipe


Ingredients:
Bunch of kale
1/2 tablespoon of powbab® organic baobab superfruit powder
Garlic
Garlic seasoning
3/4 cup of steamed taro cut in chunks
1/2 red pepper
3 Eggs
1.25 cup of milk (nut milk works too)
1/4 teaspoon of Salt
Big dash of black Pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
Dash of coriander
Parmesan cheese for topping

 

Directions:

  1. Stir fry kale, garlic and olive oil. Once you cook down for about 7-10 min, turn off burner and add in baobab and red pepper, mix. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 370 degrees.
  3. Whisk together eggs, then add milk and spices.
  4. Place cooked kale in pie dish, with taro. Pour in egg mixture. Top with Parmesan cheese (more cheese the tastier).
  5. Bake for 30-40 min until golden brown. If you like more firm, bake for longer, or if eating next day, take out after 30 min, when you bake next day it will become more firm and crispy.
  6. Enjoy!
