• Hazelnut Hot Chocolate

Rich, cozy, and not overly sweet—this works beautifully with powbab Dark Chocolate Chips and powbab Hazelnut Paste

powbab Hazelnut Hot Chocolate (Holiday Style)

Ingredients (2 generous mugs):

•    2 cups whole milk (or your choice of milk)
•    2 tbsp powbab Hazelnut Paste
•    ¼ cup powbab Dark Chocolate Chips
•    1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (optional, for deeper chocolate flavor)
•    1–2 tbsp maple syrup or honey, to taste
•    ¼ tsp vanilla extract
•    Pinch sea salt

Optional holiday spices:

- Tiny pinch cinnamon
- Pinch nutmeg or cardamom

 

Instructions:

1.    In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the milk until steaming (do not boil).
2.    Whisk in the hazelnut paste until fully dissolved and smooth.
3.    Add dark chocolate chips and cocoa powder (if using). Whisk gently until melted and glossy.
4.    Stir in maple syrup/honey, vanilla, salt, and any spices.
5.    Taste and adjust sweetness or spice.
6.    Pour into mugs and serve immediately.

 

Optional Holiday Finishes

•    Dairy or coconut whipped cream
•    Shaved dark chocolate or crushed toasted hazelnuts
•    Orange zest (excellent with hazelnut + dark chocolate)
